Spring Program

Littleton Hockey is thrilled to announce our 2023 spring program! Our spring program offers several different divisions and levels of commitment. Our mission is to provide a quality and positive experience for players looking to improve their overall abilities on the ice following the winter season. Through outstanding coaching, our players will receive top-notch skill development in the most important facets of hockey. More information and details of the entire spring program are listed below.

Tryouts

Tryouts for the High Performance Program will take place April 3-5, 2023.

A non-refundable tryout fee of $75 will need to be paid before your player steps on the ice. Each skater will receive three tryout sessions. 

High Performance Program

Our High Performance program is a more serious and more intense version of your classic spring program. This is tailored to the athletes looking for more of a commitment in spring focusing on all aspects of the game. Players will have to attend team placements which will have a non-refundable fee of $75.

Players who make the High Performance team can expect the following;

• (1) Full-Ice Session Per Week

• (1) Half-Ice Session Per Week

• 1 Local Tournament (Optional, If Available)

• 1 Travel Tournament (Optional)

• Scrimmages Scheduled As Ice Becomes Available (Weekends)


Schedules are subject to change:

  • 16U HP: Tuesday and Thursdays 3:55-4:55P.M. Ice Ranch
  • 14U HP: Monday and Wednesdays 8:45-9:45P.M. The Edge
  • 12U HP: Monday and Wednesdays 5:05-6:05P.M. Ice Ranch. (Some Fridays)
  • 10U HP: Monday and Wednesdays 5:05-6:05P.M. Ice Ranch. (Some Fridays)

select program

Our select Spring development program is designed to be a more conventional spring program with the focus on individual skill development. This program permits a lighter feel to allow players to participate in other sports while still wanting to stay on the ice in an organized and professional setting.

• (2) Half-Ice Sessions Per Week

• 1 Local Tournament (Optional, If Available)

• Scrimmages Scheduled As Ice Becomes Available (Weekends)

•Teams Will Be Evenly Drafted After The First Few Practices

Select skates will be held at The Edge Ice Arena:

Tuesday and Thursdays:

10U Select: 5:00-6:00P.M.

12U Select: 6:15-7:15P.M.

14U Select: 7:30-8:30P.M.



8U spring program

8U Spring Program Littleton Hockey is excited to continue our pronounced 8U spring program. Our 8Us will skate at The Ice Ranch and can expect to skate twice per week on average. The first skate of each week will consist of building up their foundational skills always starting with FULL ICE skating and edge work. The second skate of each week will be focused on backwards skating, puck handling, passing, shooting, body positioning and small area games. Our quality and expertise in developing 8U players is beyond comparable!


McKinnon (2017-2018) group will be Tuesday and Thursday from 5:05-6:05PM at the ice ranch.

Landeskog group (2015-2016) will be Tuesday and Thursday from 6:15-7:15PM at the ice ranch.

spring goalie program

LHA's Spring Goalie program is for goalies in the spring program and goalies just looking for extra ice time for quality development by the top goalie coaches in Denver. This program will include on-ice goaltender power skating and edge work, fundamental skill development, and game situation drills each week on Fridays.

If your goalie is participating in our spring program there is no additional charge for this program.

If you have a goaltender who is not participating in our spring program, you will need to register and pay the fee for the program.

Fridays at The Ice Ranch:

14U and 16U:3:55-4:55P.M.

10U and 12U: 5:05-6:05P.M.

8U: 6:15-7:15P.M.

TRAVEL TOURNAMENT

We are planning on taking a team at each HP level to an out-of-state tournament. If you do NOT wish to travel, this will need to be declared upon registering. We will be participating in the TCS Utah Mountain Cup, May 5th-7th.

Travel Tournament Fees

Travel tournament fees are not included in the spring registration. An additional fee of $200 will be assessed which includes tournament fees and coaches travel expenses.
