DAKOTA RIDGE CPHL REGISTRATION
The CPHL League is the Official Fall League of High School Hockey that preludes the winter CHSAA Season. Both T1 and T2 Teams will play a rigorous regular season followed by single elimination playoffs. The winner of T1 CPHL Playoffs is rewarded with the automatic bid to USA Tier II Prep Nationals.
The Littleton Hockey Association supports the high school athlete and high school hockey. LHA is partnered with the Dakota Ridge Eagles. During the Fall Season, the Eagles play in the Colorado Prep Hockey League (CPHL). The Winter Season is played under the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA).
The Eagles practice and play their home games at Edge Ice Arena. The CPHL practice schedule is Tuesday/Thursday, 8:30 PM starting in late August.

Ages
Players in 9th-12th grade are eligible for tryouts. Teams are registered as 18U to allow for all players to be eligible on all teams.
Tryouts
Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, August 16th, 6:30 PM - The Ice Ranch and Saturday, August 19th at 2:00 PM - The Ice Ranch.
Where
The Eagles practice and play their home games at Edge Ice Arena.
Practices
The CPHL practice schedule is Tuesday/Thursday, 8:30 PM
Section II, G of the USA Hockey Safesport Program Handbook states:
All players seventeen (17) years of age or older on or before December 31 of that playing season, and that play on a team in a classification that allows minor age players, shall be required to complete SafeSport Training before being added to such team and prior to participation (on-ice or off-ice). This requirement shall apply to all teams in the age classifications Youth, Girls, High School, Junior Hockey, Flex Hockey and Disabled Hockey programs that allow both Minor age and adult age players. Players required to complete the training shall complete the Core Center for SafeSport Training prior to being added to a team and shall complete the Refresher Course each subsequent season in which they are on a team in the above classifications.
If you are a 2006 birth year or earlier, you will be required to take the SafeSport Core Training or Refresher Course prior to participation for the 2023-24 season. If a player took the full course last season, they will only need to take one of the refresher courses. Any player in this age group that has not taken the required course prior to the start of the season will not be able to be rostered and will be unable to participate in games until the required course is completed.
