8U September Skills Camp
This camp will be run by our 8U Director - Harry Golden! It is designed to allow kids of all skill and ages within our birth years to get some extra ice time and learn some new skills! Practices will be skating and station based drills with some games along the way. This program is open to LHA and non-LHA members.
AGES: For all birth years 2016-2020
- 8U Advanced (2016)
- 8U Intermediate (2017)
- 8U Beginner (2018-2020
- 2020 Birth years will need special approval from Harry Golden

Q: What is the 8U September skills sessions?
A: The 8U September skills sessions are for advanced through beginner skaters. Each group is split up by birth year and skill level.
Q: Does my player need full gear?
A: Yes, your player needs full gear. The gear list includes: Helmet(with cage), Gloves, Skates, Shin pads, Elbow Pads, Shoulder Pads, Breezers, Socks, Jersey.
Q: Will the schedule be posted online?
A: Yes, the schedule will be posted online under the teams tab.
Q: Are parents allowed to watch from the bench?
A: No, parents must spectate from designated areas. In the stands or on the glass.
Q: Am I allowed to be on the ice with my child?
A: Yes and no, the only time you can be on the ice with your child is if you are a certified coach.

Q: How many coaches will be on the ice?
A: This can vary from session to session. We do our absolute best to staff as many coaches on the ice as possible.
Q: Is my player allowed to play up an age group?
A: A player that has been approved to skate up and age group must be approved by Harry Golden. Typically players will stay in their birth year.
