Travel Player Registration
LHA offers a competitive travel program for the 10U, 12U, and 14U levels. This program is designed for players who have the desire and ability to play at a challenging level of competition.
Teams in this program will play in the Rocky Mountain Hockey Federation (RMHF) as well as travel out of state to tournaments.
Players who are selected for these teams require a greater commitment from both players and parents.
The RMHF is the premier travel league in Colorado and has expanded into the Rocky Mountain Region. The RMHF fosters healthy competition in the Rocky Mountain Region and assists with lowering travel costs in a league structure. The RMHF is focused on building healthy partnerships in the spirit of competition with a partner first/competition second understanding.
Please review the fact sheet provided below, which details the programming information and specifics regarding what is included in the association registration fees.

2026–2027 Season Updates
To enhance the experience for our players and families, LHA is introducing several key updates for the upcoming 2026–2027 season.
Streamlined Apparel Cycle
We have established new partnerships with on-ice and off-ice apparel vendors. As part of this transition, the club is moving to a 2–3 year apparel cycle, which means families will no longer be required to purchase a new on-ice apparel package every season.
All-Inclusive Registration Fees
Starting this year, season registration fees will now fully include a designated amount of pre-registered tournament fees for each level.
Please note that any player vying for a spot on a AA roster is required to submit a $50 non-refundable tryout fee prior to taking the ice.
Team fees are additional monthly charges collected by the designated team treasurer. These fees cover expenses such as additional tournament entry costs, coaches’ travel and per diem, team manager travel, team supplies, miscellaneous extras, end-of-season gifts, and the team party. Team fees are divided equally among all players and cannot be paid using scholarships.
All of LHA’s payments are processed through Crossbar. Please note that two types of fees are charged:
- A Transaction Fee charged by Crossbar on every transaction, regardless of the payment method used.
- An additional Processing Fee charged by Crossbar
- CC transactions // 3.99% + $0.99
- ACH/Debit card transactions // 1.99% + $0.99
In the past, the LHA Board of Directors directly subsidized all of the Transaction Fees charged by Crossbar and chose not to pass those costs on to parents. Only the Processing Fee portion was paid by parents at the point of sale.
Due to Transaction Fees in excess of $50,000 for the association and the other increases in program expenses — including increases in ice costs that LHA is now subsidizing to keep registration fees as low as possible — the Board of Directors determined that LHA would be unable to continue to subsidize Transaction Fees.
As a result, Crossbar is now charging both Transaction Fees and Processing Fees at the point of sale for all teams.
SPORTS FEE REGISTRATION INSURANCE
We understand that unexpected events can occur during the hockey season. To help protect your investment, insurance is being offered at the time of registration.
