LHA offers a variety of summer programming to help your player reach their full potential on the ice. Our programs are designed to be enjoyable and rewarding. Join us for an unforgettable experience filled with camaraderie, teamwork, and a shared passion for the game!
Hockey/Golf/Swim Camp
Dates
First session: June 24th, 2024 - June 27th, 2024
Second session: July 22nd, 2024 - July 25th, 2024

Back by popular demand is the Hockey/Golf/Swim Camp. This is one of LHA's most popular camps. All sessions are at FHPRD complexes.

Summer League

The summer league is designed to have a different option than just skill work throughout the summer. We embrace the positive and fun culture in this league from start to finish with a bit of competitive thrown in there! You get 14 games throughout the summer and playoffs! Jerseys are provided. Team will be evenly drafted. Team will be released by May 15th. Registration will close the night before at 11:59P.M. on May 14th. All games will be full ice.
The schedule for the league will be released on May 1st!

8U Summer Skills

LHA's 8U summer skills are run by our very own 8U Director, Harry Golden. He will ensure your athletes are focused and improving at their own rate by combining energy and relationships with each athlete and therefore is able to cater to their speed as needed. He will be helped by some of LHA's top coaches including:

FREE 8U Goalie Camp

Tuesdays from 5:00 PM-6:00 PM
Being a hockey goalie is not for everyone, but WE want to make sure that it could be for anyone. OUR hope is that giving more young players access to the position at a young age will result in more goalies as time goes on.
This program is designed to introduce players to the goaltending lifestyle!
The best part - this camp is on us which means no cost to you!
Lead instructor - Dillon Whalen.

Goalie Summer Skate

Led by our Goalie Director, Dillon Whalen, each goalie will skate twice a week! This will be a progression based program starting with back to the basics to more advanced movement towards the end of the summer! Practices will include full group and station-based goalie-specific skating techniques to proper angle play, and body control. Our training is designed to improve players agility, coordination, stance, technique and concentration with an emphasis on the importance of correct position in the net.
Dillon will also be helped by Tristian Close, Jonathan Joy, Kevin Dwyer, and Blake Bell! We will accept 30 goalies.

14U Contact/Checking Camp

Our 14U contact camp is one of our most popular camps! This one will fill up quickly! This camp is a fantastic option for incoming 14U players to get introduced to contact and maintain consistency through the entire summer. We start off at a very slow pace teaching the core techniques of body contact from delivering and receiving contact. The goal is to have players leave camp with the skills, awareness and confidence to safely and successfully compete in full contact games and practices.
This camp is run by Jason Gour. He has amazing coaches with Harry Golden, Mike Karas, Tanner Doty, and Jesse Shelton as a supporting cast.

Beginner in house hockey league

This program is a fantastic program for players coming out of the learn to play program. This program offers 1 practice per week and 1 game per week. After the first week of practices, the players will be split in to 2 different teams to play against each other in a game. Tanner Doty is LHA's Grow the Game Coordinator and will oversee this program.

Midget Summer Skate

Get ready to break a sweat with our high-intensity on-ice workouts. These skates are designed for all 16U and 18U aged players wanting to hone their skills and improve their endurance, speed, and agility while developing the physical attributes necessary for peak performance.
