14U Primetime Skills

The 14U Summer Skills Camp is built for athletes entering a critical stage of development. As the game gets faster, stronger, and more competitive, players must train with greater purpose and intensity. This program combines high-tempo on-ice training with structured off-ice performance development to help athletes elevate every area of their game.

At 14U, details separate players. Execution, pace, and mindset matter more than ever.

Players will develop:

High-Performance Skating – Advanced edge control, stride efficiency, acceleration mechanics, transition speed, and power development to maximize separation and gap control.

Elite Skill Execution Under Pressure – Handling and protecting pucks at top speed, deception, shooting in stride, playmaking in tight spaces, and executing skills consistently in game-like situations.

Compete Level & Hockey IQ – Advanced situational drills, small-area competitions, net-front battles, and learning how to manage time, space, and momentum in all three zones.

Off-Ice Performance Training – Speed mechanics, agility, coordination, mobility, and foundational strength training to improve explosiveness, injury prevention, and overall athletic durability.

Leadership & Mental Toughness – Developing accountability, resilience, work ethic, and a competitive mindset required to succeed as the game continues to demand more.

Led by a mixture of LHA Staff and outside coaches. Each session is structured to challenge players, maximize reps, and create an environment where hard work and enjoyment go hand in hand.
