The 12U Summer Skills Camp is built for players ready to raise their standard. Combining high-tempo on-ice training with structured off-ice athletic development, this program focuses on refining details, increasing pace, and preparing athletes for the next level of competitive hockey.

At this stage, habits, intensity, and execution matter. Our sessions are designed to challenge players physically and mentally while building complete, confident athletes.

Players will develop:

Elite Skating Development – Advanced edgework, acceleration and stride efficiency, lateral mobility, and overall skating power to gain separation and close gaps.

High-Level Skill Execution – Puck control at top speed, passing and receiving under pressure, deceptive shooting, and quicker decision-making in tight spaces.

Compete & Hockey IQ – Small-area competitions, situational play, puck battles, and learning how to read the game, manage time and space, and play with purpose in all three zones.

Off-Ice Performance Training – Age-appropriate speed, agility, coordination, and foundational strength work designed to enhance explosiveness, balance, and durability on the ice.

Confidence & Leadership – Developing work ethic, accountability, and a competitive mindset while continuing to build a strong love for the game.

Led by a mixture of LHA Staff and outside coaches. Each session is structured to challenge players, maximize reps, and create an environment where hard work and enjoyment go hand in hand.
